Although Cinco de Mayo is more of a California/U.S. holiday, we would like to take this opportunity to highlight our work in OAXACA and CHIAPAS, MEXICO. We work in partnership with local indigenous communities promoting self-reliance, health justice, and holistic healing that integrates traditional practices, health education and community health worker training, as well as support for the CEPAFOS clinic in Oaxaca and Hospital San Carlos in Chiapas. All work is done in partnership with local communities.
