Equipment and Supply Needs

Please look over the list of equipment and supplies needed in El Salvador and Chiapas. Put your old manual typewriter or that computer printer you never use any more to work in Morazan. If you are a health care professional or have friends who are, review the list of medications and equipment needs. Transport of materials can be arranged by DGH. Please contact the DGH office in Atlanta prior to sending materials to be certain they are compatible with current needs.

Monetary Contributions

DGH is a 501(c)3 organization. Contributions are tax-deductible. As a result of DGH's volunteer structure, there is little overhead to dilute the impact of contributions in achieving tangible results. You can send checks to:

Volunteer Opportunities Abroad

DGH is looking for volunteers that can work alongside community members in Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and Uganda. Our philosophy is to facilitate the interchange of culture, technical abilities and other aspects of the human experience, to the end of promoting human dignity and social justice.

Volunteer Opportunities at Home

• Several individuals have informed us that it would be to their advantage to make contributions to DGH in the form of stocks rather than cash. A qualified volunteer investment management professional is needed to assist in establishing and administering such a program.
• Volunteers are needed to assist in obtaining donated materials and equipment for projects abroad. A list of needs is available. Please consider helping out with one or more items.
