DGH is Sponsoring a Photography Contest
Theme. All entries should explore the theme of DGH's mission, Promoting Health and Human Rights with those who have difficulty making their voices heard.

Submissions. For each entry submit one 35 mm slide and a brief written description (including date and place of photo), with your name, age, course of study or job/profession, address and telephone (optional) and e-mail address. Mail entries to the address below. All submissions must be received by January 16, 2001. Winners will be notified March 20, 2001.

Prizes. First prize: All expenses paid to 6th Annual DGH General Assembly in the summer of 2001; copy of Health and Human Rights, A Reader. Second Prize: Copy of Health and Human Rights, A Reader; Third Prize: Copy of Where There Is No Doctor. Prize for Entry Under 15 Years of Age: Copy of Health and Human Rights, A Reader. All winners and Honorable Mentions will receive a DGH T-shirt. Limit of 1 prize per person.

Rules. Entry is open to all persons without restriction (except DGH Board members). Students are especially welcome to enter. Limit of 3 entries per person. Accompanying written description should be in English, Spanish or French. Entries must be original, photographed by the person submitting them and must have never been published, submitted for publication or entered in another contest. DGH cannot return submissions or be held responsible for their loss. By submitting an entry you agree to give DGH first publication rights and use of the entries in a travelling exhibit.
